In 2004, Audi was introduced in India - which is a secondary of the German Automobile Company, Audi. They then proceeded to sell luxury cars to the people of India. In March 2007, as a division of Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd., Audi then established its very own sales company in India. Audi had a goal in mind they were to compete against various luxury car manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar and Volvo. By creating a car assembling unit in Aurangabad, they worked towards making themselves one of the market leaders in India. In the base of Aurangabad, Audi has begun assembling the Audi A6 and the Audi A4 cars for consumers. The cars that are being sold by Audi India are considered high in demand, thus making them eligible to be rated as premium cars. To top it all off, the company also imports their other models of cars from Germany. There are various models of Audi cars in India, some more popular than others. Those models are the Q7 4.2 Quattro, Q7 3.0 Tdi, Q7 3.0 Quattro and Q7 3.6 Quattro.
